Evensong Oude Kerk Voorburg
Op zondag 9 oktober aanstaande zingt het Voorburgs Vocaal Ensemble Engelse koormuziek tijdens de Evensong. Deze dienst, waarbij het grootste deel gezongen wordt, is afkomstig uit de Anglicaanse Kerk en begint om 19:00 uur onder leiding van ds. C.W. van der Meij. Eind oktober vertrekt het VVE naar Dublin om enkele diensten te begeleiden in de Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, waar naast Engelse componisten ook werken van Nederlandse en Belgische componisten te horen zullen zijn. Lunchconcert: The best of VVE
In the past few years it has become a tradition at the end of the concert season for the VVE to perform during the final concert in the series ‘Music in the Koningkerk’. It has also become our tradition to present a ‘light’ programme, and the 2017 edition will be no exception. On September 24th the Voorburgs Vocaal Ensemble can be seen and heard in the Dorpskerk in the town of Kethel. Since the beginning of the 1990s, the VVE has been one of the regular guest choirs in the series 'Avondmuziek' (Evening music) held in this church.
