Afternoon concert – Koningkerk
We are delighted to be able to bring the ‘Muziek in de Koningkerk’ concert series to a close once again, in keeping with the tradition of previous years. This concert is inspired by our upcoming choir trip to Canterbury. The programme therefore features a few beautiful works by English composers, but you will also hear two pieces by Dutch composers, two musical instruments, one musical joke, and you will meet a friend of Robin Hood. This concert, part of the ‘Avondmuziek’ series at the Dorpskerk in Kethel, is – just like our summer concert at the Koningkerk – inspired by our upcoming choir trip to Canterbury. In the beautiful Dorpskerk, you can therefore listen to the Magnificat and the Nunc Dimittis by the Dutch composer Hayo Boerema, organist at the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam.
