Festival of Lessons and Carols – Charlois
The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a beloved English Christmas tradition, originating at King's College Cambridge, in which readings from the Bible are interspersed with choral singing. This format combines reflection and musical wonder, allowing the audience and performers to experience the Christmas spirit together – promising a heart-warming evening in Charlois on 12 December. In the Sunday Matinees series at the Abdijkerk in Loosduinen, the Voorburg Vocal Ensemble will perform a varied programme based on the theme of “time.
